Part one is on Tuesday at 6:30pm.  People do not need to register in advance.  They can click the link and enter the passcode to enter the Zoom Webinar.  They can also watch this on You Tube and on the MCPS website. MCPS to Provide Breakfast and Lunch Meals Through the Summer

MCPS announced today that beginning July 6, 2020, MCPS will provide breakfast and lunch meals to all Montgomery County children and all MCPS students (regardless of age) at nearly 100 sites across the county. Meals will be provided from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at school sites and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at bus distribution sites. See the full list of locations At this time, MCPS has not received a waiver from the federal government to provide dinner meals. If a waiver is approved, the district will add dinner meals to the distribution. Schedule Meals will be provided four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 6/4/2020 7:39 pm Good Evening Page Community, This week I felt compelled to stop and reflect on the unrest that has managed to wedge its way into our new normal of COVID-19. In a recent meeting with some staff members, we had courageous conversations about the ongoing protest, civil unrest, and racist actions of police officers on African American men, women, and boys.   During the discussion I reflected on my emotions and reaction to the “8 minute and 46 second” video of George Floyd.  I could not believe what I was watching.
