Help Page PTA Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Video Submissions

It is Hispanic Heritage Month and the PTA wants to celebrate with the Page community. We are asking families to submit videos celebrating Hispanic heritage. Videos will be compiled and viewed together during a "watch party" at the next PTA General Meeting on Nov 4. Here's what you need to do: Think of a creative way you and your family can work together to showcase Hispanic culture (see example below) Create no-longer than a 3 min. video of what you are sharing  (see vid requirements below) Go to the following link by Friday, October 23 to submit your video:   SUBMIT NOW Attend next PTA General Meeting on Nov 4 that kicks off with a "Watch Party" of all the video entries Members will vote on

First Annual Poinsettia Sale Fundraiser Underway Through Nov 11

As a part of the PTA's overall FILL THE BEAK! efforts, we are embarking on a new and exciting fundraiser for the upcoming holiday season. Between now and November 11, 2020, pre-order your holiday poinsettia plants and help Page PTA raise money for the current school year. There are two colors available (red + white) and two size pots to choose from (7" + 10"). Page PTA will receive a portion of the sale amount toward our FILL THE BEAK! funding goal. Thank you to everyone who participated in our first-ever "drive by" board of directors elections on October 7. We had a great turnout and enough votes to elect new board members along with other voting items. See Marshall from Paw Patrol at Fire Safety event with Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Dept

Each year, fire safety prevention week is observed each year during the week of Oct 9 to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire on Oct 8, 1871. The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a "WE MISS YOU TOO" Drive-Thru event on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 12pm-3pm. The socially distanced event will take place at Epiphany Lutheran Church. Wear your masks and come see "Marshall" from Paw Patrol to learn more about fire prevention for the whole family.
