Each year, new elections are held for open positions that rotate on the PTA Board of Directors executive team. This year, the two positions being vacated are for President and Vice-President.

Please consider running for one of these positions or nominating someone who you think would be open to serving on the Board. Please review the position description of duties below to better understand what is expected. In addition, we are also seeking a co-chair of the Fundraising Committee alongside with Dennis Williams. ELECTIONS:
Elections this year will be conducted electronically
Only active (dues paid) PTA members are invited to vote
Candidates will field questions at the Tuesday, June 1 PTA General Meeting
Ballots will be sent and cast electronically on Wednesday, June 2
New Board members will be announced by Friday, June 4
President Position Duties:
Coordinate work
Preside at all Board and General meetings
Make committee and chairmen appointments
Sign all authorizations and contracts
Understand and follow all financial procedures
Authorized check- signer
Official representative of the association
Responsible for annual report
Official contact
Meet with school administrator
Perform other prescribed duties
Vice-President Duties:
Assist the president
Accept delegated responsibility
Lead meetings in President's absence
Lead Membership efforts and Family Engagement
Participate in executive board meetings and provide input for decisions
Be an ambassador for the PTA and the school
Fundraising Committee Co-Chair:
Appointed by the president
Works with co-chair to plan and organize fundraising activities
Focuses on raising the amount of funds needed to meet the PTA's budget
Presents reports on proposed fundraising activities at Board and General meetings for approval
