It is Hispanic Heritage Month and the PTA wants to celebrate with the Page community. We are asking families to submit videos celebrating Hispanic heritage. Videos will be compiled and viewed together during a "watch party" at the next PTA General Meeting on Nov 4. Here's what you need to do:
Think of a creative way you and your family can work together to showcase Hispanic culture (see example below)
Create no-longer than a 3 min. video of what you are sharing (see vid requirements below)
Go to the following link by Friday, October 23 to submit your video: SUBMIT NOW
Attend next PTA General Meeting on Nov 4 that kicks off with a "Watch Party" of all the video entries
Members will vote on videos to earn a gift card for the following 3 categories:
Most Creative
Most Inspirational
Best Family Engagement
We cannot wait to see the creativity that comes from all our Page families to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Have fun!
Here are examples of videos you can create with your family:
Read a poem or story from a hispanic author or that showcases a Hispanic country or cultural aspect
Sing a Spanish song or a culturally authentic dance
Share and describe a favorite piece of art in your family
Share or demonstrate a favorite recipe
Reenact a historical scene in the Hispanic culture
Video Requirements
Videos can be no longer than 3 mins long
Please shoot your video in "HORIZONTAL / LANDSCAPE" view and not in vertical
.mp4 format is preferable, but most standard video formats should work, especially if shot using your mobile device
