MCPS Chromebook + Wifi Updated Plan

MCPS has loaned over 65,000 Chromebook (CB) computers and Wireless Internet Access equipment (eg. MiFi hotspots) when needed, however there are still students not able to access the online learning classrooms and materials needed to engage in MCPS’ Continuity of Learning programs currently offered. Dear Page Community, After several weeks now of being out of school, I truly hope you are all doing okay. Hopefully you have settled in with the new daily routine and the flurry of emails coming from the school, MCPS, the county, the governor, and everywhere else have somewhat subsided. Update: Read-A-Thon Cancelled

Dear Page Elementary families: Due to our school's closure and statewide social distancing restrictions because of COVID-19, we are reaching out during these unprecedented times to let you know we have decided to officially cancel this year’s Page PTA Read-a-thon that kicked off earlier this year. To reach this decision, we took into consideration the prolonged closure of school, the potential hazards of collecting the paper reading logs, and the financial hardships many families in our community are now facing.
